I have been wondering if thier was a Black Moa then why thier wasn't a "special" pet for the Luxons?

If their isn't i think the idea of having a Baby Turtle like the ones from Gaylas Hatchery would be a nice special pet. When they start lvl from lvl 1 or whatever level they would be at when you first charmed them they would start to grow. I dont mean like you would end up with a HUGE siege turtle or anything. More like the turtle you see leading a Luxon Traveler(they are located traveling in between Matuu Keep and the first luxon mission which the name of just slipped my mind). The size of this turtle might even be to big. But I thought thier should be some sort of special pet for the Luxons.

A quest for this would be given from Gaylas Hatchery or Levathan Pits seeming how they deal the most with the turtles. It would be a quest in which you would have to kill Outcast who are torturing thier recently stolen turtle. You would have to attack an Outcast basecamp and kill everyone thier. Then you would have to escort the turtle back the the origin of the quest while getting attacked by the Outcasts who see the turtle as a way to combat the Luxons even more efficiantly. An NPC would be standing outside in front of the portal of the town. After talking to him and getting the reward for the quest he would tell you that that the turle had been the runt of the baby turtles and that he wouldn't become big enough to become a siege turtle or a carrying turtle(or whatever they use them for) and would need a new home and offer the baby turtle to you.

That is my idea please tell me what you think of it and critique it and add to it.

Interesting, but I think a differen pet would be better.

The Kurzicks get a Black Moa. There are no moa birds in Cantha. So the Luxon thing would be somthing like that.
Mabye a polar bear for some reason.

The main problem I see is implementation. How would they add this quest in? IF they added this quest, they would need to add a coresponding one for the Kurzicks (as in same reward, minus the pet).

Maybe if they stopped with all these weekend events and took some time, they could add a bunch of new quests. At least those would keep some people occupied for a week or two.

They do have special pets... hang on *looks*

EDIT: that's right, they have crabs, there's even a Luxon clan called The Crab.

the crab isnt "special" like the black moa..the black moa is a singular find unlike crabs who infest the jade sea.

Also, the Crabs are just like White Tigers, they cover the whole of one area. Jade Sea has Crabs, Ecovald Forest has White Tigers.

Now, Ecovald Forest has a Black Moa, Jade Sea has...?

I'm sure they said in regards to Siege turtles as pets that it would never happen, simply because they would move way too slow.

Although I did always wonder why we got the black moa, and you guys got nothing?

Maybe my previous random idea would work.

Make a strange "albino bear" or something like that (white being the opposite of black), that you could do a quest to get the pelt of (albino pelts are sought after). However, you would be able to just charm the pet, then somehow that would work too.

I don't know, I'm just throwing a random idea out there.

But Luxons have blue crabs and a secluded area of red crabs.. we have 1 black moa and a ton of white tigers...

You're not trying to say that the Red Crab and Blue Crab is the same a the difference between a White Tiger and a Black Moa, are you? That's just too far fetched. Besides, you can get the red crabs without even entering the Jade Sea.

I wand a damned Panda, the NPC Ranger on shingjea island and the manual booklet has one, so why not me? It could be found in the maishang hills with a quest with the same structure as the Beak of Darkness. Because in real life pandas are very strong, it could be that it is destroying crap/killing travellers/the usual. Also, there's already a bear model, so using that and just reskinning it shouldnt be a problem. Panda's ftw.
